My name is Ólöf Melkorka.
I am a 67 year old Icelandic woman with an MA degree in Theology and Spiritual Care Counselling within the Health System. I have worked as a Spiritual Counselor in the Netherlands and ran my own business in Iceland for 15 years.
Apart from being a host I dedicate my time to painting and writing, alongside hosting and counseling individuals with PTSD due to the loss of a child and people who have had to endure domestic violence.
I previously ran a Airbnb in The Netherlands, Melkorka´s Homestay, where I lived and studied for 7 years, before moving to Spain and starting Melkorka’s Apartments with my hubby and our dog.
Life is a great adventure and age is just a number :)
